Hey hey!
I’ve posted quite a bit on my Instagram lately about how to take your typical millennial uniform, add or tweak just a couple items, and instantly modernize the outfit. I’ve broken it down for you here into a few categories, and if you guys like it, I’ll work on more! To be completely transparent, I own every. single. one. of the items I’m suggesting we swap out and I will probably keep wearing them this season too! I’m not looking to completely overhaul my wardrobe, but just freshen up my outfits with one or two pieces.
You can find everything linked on my LTK page here: https://www.shopltk.com/explore/savberinger
Starting with shoes, here we go! Obviously I like this light tan/beige color, but you can easily wear these in white (bone), cognac, or black too.

Next up, the cardigan. Man I love a cardigan. I own the one pictured in FOUR colors. There’s nothing wrong with a classic cardigan, but this fall I’m going to experiment with different shapes and textures with jackets!

The next swap really goes hand in hand with the cardigan convo. We all love a good camisole. The flowy cami with skinny jeans was my uniform for at least 3 years. This fall, trust me here, give a more fitted option a shot. I normally try to give options at multiple price points but with these I really think a quality material makes a difference. The fitted look under an oversized piece from above gives a polished yet casual look.

For me, the most intimidating place to start when making updates is jeans. Bury me in skinny jeans. But truly, I’m coming around on some of the more relaxed styles. I’m petite so I really haven’t gotten on the wide leg train, but there are a lot of really flattering boot cut and straight leg options. I also really love that you can wear these normally or cuff them for a totally different look! I added a couple options here but there are at least 10 linked in my LTK shop at all different budgets.

Finally, handbags! I’m notorious for carrying the same bag for YEARS. Truly, I’ve carried maybe 2 bags in the past 5 years with the exception of a going out clutch. I’m going to push myself to get out of my comfort zone this fall and try a couple new bags!

I hope you guys find this helpful, affordable, and practical as you look at fall and winter shopping. I’m thinking about maybe sorta kinda posting this blog to the public for the first time, but if I do that then it’s out there for the whole world to see and that makes me v nervous. But what’s it going to hurt, I guess?!
Thanks for following along.
Love, SB
