Hi there! Okay, wow, my first real post. Here we go!

I guess I should start with a brief intro of myself and my site. I’m Savannah Beringer. My friends call me Sav, and I think my mom hates that. I live in the suburbs of Dallas with my husband TJ. We have a 6 year old miniature poodle that we rescued about 4 years ago. His name is Lucky and he rules the roost! I am originally from a very small town in Arkansas, but I have been in the Dallas area for about 5 years now. It doesn’t seem real that this has been my home for half a decade already!

Right now, this blog is serving as a way for me to organize my thoughts during an incredibly busy season. Mainly, I will be walking you through the process of buying and building our first house. I will share the fun parts like design and decor, as well as the not so fun stuff. Looking at you, budget. That said, I don’t intend for this to solely be a home decor blog! I will be sharing my thoughts and experiences on marriage, friendship, faith, and travel as well. Would you swing by the Contact page and let me know what topics you want to see?

Now for some things you couldn’t figure out from a Google search or Instagram creep. I love getting mail (no, really. I still sing the mail song from Blue’s Clues. You know the one). I don’t like musicals, so I’ve never seen The Greatest Showman, Moulin Rouge, Les Mis, you get the idea. I lived in 9 states before I was six years old, and that probably contributes to my love of travel. On the Myers Briggs test, I’m an ESFJ. I’m also an Enneagram 2. Any fellow Enneagram lovers out there?
